The Improvement Cience™ started with a simple realization
Roland Wegberg is the founder of The Improvement Cience™ and a Master Black Belt with 20+ years of experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and behavioral transformation.
He began his career in engineering and the Royal Dutch Navy before moving into industry, where a CI project at a cement factory sparked a lifelong curiosity about how people, systems, and culture intersect.
That journey led him to Schiphol Airport, where he led major transformations across asset management, winter operations, and team onboarding, impacting over 600 companies operating on-site.
Roland has trained and coached hundreds of CI professionals, supported leadership teams at organizations like Schiphol, Transavia, DNB, EPZ, ENCI and holds certifications in hypnotherapy and acupuncture, adding a unique human-centered lens to his systems work.
The Improvement Cience™ is his flagship program, designed to help leaders embed improvement into behavior, decision-making, and organizational rhythm.
